Description

COLUMBIA CS 9081. RUNNIN' OUT OF FOOLS. STEREO. Original pressing in original factory seal. Whenever I read some jackass music critic be dismissive of Aretha's Columbia period I'm certain of one thing - they've never actually listened to any of it. I love this album. Although a lot are cover songs, Aretha crushes them. This album came from an ex-Columbia employee who received them at the time of the original release. I kept a few for myself and all of the ones I opened were first pressings. One of the ones I kept was Aretha's "The Tender, The Moving..." It was the original 360 label with "STEREO" in black. For those reasons I'm confident that this also a 1st press with "STEREO" in black but of course can't be 100% certain because it's sealed. It is unquestionably a 1960's pressing.  There is a small 3/4" tear in the shrink wrap at the bottom left corner. I'm listing a few other sealed Columbia/Epic albums.
