Description
THE ARGYLES-45-“Still In Love With You Baby” b/w “Turn On Your Love Light”-Jox Records #JO-055-DJ Issue-Crude 1966 San Antonio TEXAS Garage-Punk. A side is a primal take on the Beau Brummels number; version stays close to the Brummels take. B side is a credible but crude version of the Bobby Blue Bland classic, most likely lifted from Them’s version, some cool jagged fuzz-tinged guitar riffs off and on, and more heavy as the track progresses. Pressed on clear RED vinyl, DJ copies were pressed on RED, looks great (see photo) … Note that this band became in 1967, The Mind’s Eye (“Help, I’m Lost!”), then eventually morphed into the Children.
