COMMENTS: SUPER RARE. Original Spanish pressing on the obscure DIRESA Label (DLP 1226) from 1973. Phew!...drum breaks a go-go on this rare and desirable set from the funky Japanese drummer so please read on!  Backed by a groovy, psychedelic combo with hammond/spinette/harpsichord, electric bass, wah-wah/fuzzy psych guitar and brass/horn section, who could resist this Lp?!? Several trax contain killer drum breaks and music-wise, imagine a Japanese Tony Newman, Roger Simard or the 'Big Beat' sound of Keith Mansfield with an early '70s psychedelic twist, lots of 'land of the rising sun' flair and jazzy dexterity! Superb, kick-ass drumming and funky grooves on DONIMO TOMARANAI, KYO NO NIWAKA-AME (this one even contains a kool spinette/harpsichord solo!) and YO-GISHA NO ONNA! These are psychedelic 'discoteque' trax for DJs with more than enough thumpin' beats and grooves that would not sound out of place on a hopelessly obscure UK Library or oddball, psychedelic 45! Watch-out for FRUI OTERA NI TADA HITORI coz it contains one of those break-beat nuggets that, to our ears, sounds pure B-Boy in style! Just pitch it down to -4 or -6, loop it up and rock till ya pop! This particular break is FAT! Lots more funky drums on AME too, in fact, there's far too much going on here to comment on so just take our word for it! Massive sample-source, great DJ trax and one huge PASTAFROLLA recommendation to buy!!!
