Seriously though, great album with great musicians including the great Al PerkinsDave Kelly and Derek Jeffery met in 1969, formed a band showcasing their Everly Brothers/Beatles inspired two-part harmonies. They immediately won a record contract with the Beatles APPLE Records. A few years later they signed to Warner Brothers and toured as opening act for Pink Floyd, Genesis and ELO. In 1976 they met the legendary guitarist Al Perkins who joined them and recorded this album.

"Criminally unsuccessful, ARK made one album of likable, melodic songs with a sound that suggested a merger of the Hollies and the Byrds. They were able to find that line between aggressive pop and melodic rock that groups like the Rolling Stones demonstrated so well on "Out of Time" and Ruby Tuesday". The opening track "Hold me Tonight" is but one of the pop gems ready to delight the ear and the soul with its jangly guitars, sweet British harmonies, and simple but evangelical lyrics."Won "Album of the Year" award from Campus Life Magazine in 1979.

Christian music historians often point to Ark as the band that forced others in the industry to take their quality and authenticity up a notch.
Every song is very memorable and destined for radio, but with no support the album ended up destined for cut out bins. I have yet to meet anyone that owns the album that doesn’t consistently rave about it.
