MR JEKILL & MR HYDE / E.F. BLUES ... 7-inch, 45rpm OST single by ARMANDO TROVAJOLI orchestra arranged and directed by RENATO SERIO. Original Italian pressing on CBS label (CBS 7932), from 1979. Desirable, soundtrack rarity by the maestro featuring obscure lounge music from the cult film, Dottor Jekyll & Gentile Signora aka Dr. Jekyll Likes Them Hot. An Italian sex comedy directed by Steno aka Stefano Vanzina starring Edwige Fenech and Paolo Villaggio. The MR JEKILL & MR HYDE theme is strangely cool and compulsive disco with a camp / trashy ambience. A touch goofy but a perfect example of the carefree disco sound you would expect to hear in a late '70s Italian sex comedy. Lots of disco bass / oddball synth / orchestrations / sexy backing singers and lead vocals by the mysterious, Mr Hyde. Great for DJs. Booming production sound. The E.F. BLUES side (aka EDWIGE FENECH BLUES) is a jazzy striptease style theme, slow and spacey featuring Trovajoli playing synthesizer and fender rhodes. Lovely cinematic sounds creep in, as the theme progresses. Suggestive, picture sleeve artwork to die for too with Edwige Fenech in sexy Italian lingerie pose ;) Seldom offered for sale. Rare OST 45!!!

Vinyl is in shiny, strong VG++ condition (closer to M-) with a few hairlines / faint scuffs from sleeve removal. Some old pressing residue marks. Booming production sound. The soft card laminated picture sleeve is in strong VG+ condition with corner wear and ring creasing from storage. Rare OST 45!!
