WOMEN'S PARFUME / IN THE DARK ... 7-inch, 45rpm OST single by ARMANDO TROVAJOLI. Original Italian pressing on the CAM label (AMP 147), from 1975. Outstanding, Italian soundtrack double-sider by the maestro. Addictive disco funk main theme (with a distinct undercurrent of ghostly sadness to the arrangement) and a suprisingly giallo thriller-esque lounge sound to the equally evocative B-side. Mood music a la Enrico Simonetti Amore Mio / Bixio Frizzi Tempera La Preda on the amazing WOMEN'S PARFUME theme. Stylish orchestrations with beautiful strings / killer B-boy drums cum funky hip hop beats / wah wah guitars / jazz piano and cinematic horns. A real period piece and fine example of the sleazy mid '70s Cinecitta sound. This is the best theme from the Profumo Di Donna film score on Italian-only 7-inch format with picture sleeve. Great for DJs. The melancholic IN THE DARK theme is also superb and is arguably inspired by the Italian horror film genre regardless of being created for a softcore sex comedy. The Profumo Di Donna film was directed by Dino Risi starring Vittorio Gassman / Agostina Belli and Alessandro Momo. Sleeve artwork design by the legendary Sandro Simeoni too. Rare OST 45!!!

Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG

Vinyl is in strong, shiny VG++ condition with some hairlines. Light surface noises. The soft card picture sleeve is in strong VG++ condition with some creasing from storage. A few small dirt marks. A few wear marks to edges. Rare OST 45!!!

Please feel free to contact us with any condition queries you may have preferably before bidding. We will get back to you asap.
