Recorded at Rudy Van Gelder’s studio on May 14, 1959, the following personnel are on this session: Arnett Cobb (ts) Ray Bryant (p) Wendell Marshall (b) Art Taylor (d) Ray Barretto (cga). SIDE A: WHEN MY DREAMBOAT COMES HOME; LONESOME ROAD; BLUES IN THE CLOSET and PARTY TIME. SIDE B: FLYING HOME; SLOW POKE and COCKTAILS FOR TWO. The initials RVG” are stamped on both sides on the blank vinyl. This is a MONO recording. I’ve graded both the vinyl and I’ve graded both the vinyl and the record jacket as M- as the vinyl is completely clean of any marks on both sides. There is no sign of wear in or around the spindle hole on either side of the record. The record jacket shows no sign of wear on either side and there is no discoloration on the liner notes.
