Description
I have shown 8 photos of this UK 10" 78rpm shellac single on the Melodisc label with catalogue No- 1225 from 1952. A side is titled- Janie and B side is- Twelve To Four. It is by The Arnold Ross Quintet starring Arnold Ross on Piano , Jimmy Deuchar on Trumpet , Tommy Whittle on Tenor Sax , Joe Benjamin on Bass , Jack Parnell on Drums & Tony Kinsey on Drums.
The disc is visually VG with a few marks that do not affect play. There is also a mark in the run out grooves on side B that appears to be a pressing plant mark? Play tested and sounds VG+ with no skips. When on the turntable platter the disc has a slight warp which does not affect play whatsoever. Labels are VG+ with some feint spindle traces. Matrix on side A is MEL 367 with 1 B stampers , Matrix on side B is MEL 370 with 1 B stampers. 2 great UK Bop titles here that I really enjoyed listening to. I send Worldwide
