Vinyl shows a good amount of surface marks on the faces. Most marks are superficial, but there are a few marks I can lightly feel to the touch. I'm listening to this LP right now as I type this and I must say it sounds great to me. There are some audible surface sounds (more noticible during some of the quieter passages) but the power, emotion and beauty of the music still shine through. All in all, this is a great LP at a remarkable starting price.
