This US 1962 press is on the New York USA, blue and white Blue Note label. It has some essential elements of the early presses - the ear and RVG etched in the dead wax. Released in 1958, the album features Lee Morgan, Benny Golson, Bobby Timmons and Jymie Merritt.
The vinyl is in Very Good+ condition. It is pressed on wonderful heavy 60's vinyl and has a superb lightly played gloss. There are a couple of light marks but certainly nothing significant and nothing that can be heard during play. The label is also superb, the white is bright, the blue is solid and there is only the very slightest spindle wear.
The sound quality is Excellent. The heavy vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and plays through exceptionally well. Very rich and vibrant, extremely clear, moments of slight background hiss but this is largely just static. It sounds fabulous.
The heavy card sleeve is in Excellent condition. The black is bold and the image is sharp. The text is clear and the colour is vivid. There is very slight edge wear. The back has the slightest discolouration but is very clean and clear. The whole sleeve is solid and the spine is firm with sharp text.
