Offering an extremely clean NM copy of "Art Blakey and The Jazz Messengers".  This Mono, First Pressing, Rudy Van Gelder recording was released on the Blue Note label Nov-1958.  This copy features Deep Groove 2X, RVG stamp, Plastylite Ear, and bears no "Inc." or ®️.  Genre defining, genius artists, and recording of jazz at its best, not to be missed!

Vinyl: NM;  Cover: NM;  Sleeve: EXC+.  Please see description for details.  We use Goldmine system to guide our grading.

• Vinyl NM condition.  Extremely clean, glossy and flat.  Center labels clean and vibrant.  Did not observe any visual anomalies.  RVG stamp, Plastylite Ear and catalog number can be seen near the hot highlights in the run out areas, in images #7 & #8.  Audio clip available upon request.

• Cover is NM condition.  This original cover is super clean.  No folds, splits, or stains.  Nearly negligible front surface & edge wear; only corner wear of note is bottom at spine ~0.125" paper loss.  Back surface has very light wear and light pencil mark close to upper left edge.  There is a very, very slight edge warp to cover.  Absolutely beautifully cared for by previous owner.  See photos for more details.

• Sleeve VG+ condition.  This very clean plain sleeve is how this came to us.  No stains or hand markings.  Age appropriate discoloration of paper.  Slight ripples at corners, light ring impression, tiny tear at center opening and small fold along over flap near opening.  Two small splits at center: ~1" bottom and ~0.5" one side.   See photos for details.
