At the start of Volume 2, Blakey opens the session with Introductions.

Volume 2 features 3 MOBLEY originals, opening with  (1)"SPORTIN' CROWD" with a Horace SILVER solo.  Next (2) 'AVILA & t

TEQUILA" with Afro-Cuban tinged drums and 12 minutes of serious cooking on horns.  (3) "I WAITED FOR YOU"", Mobleys soulful solo on the Gillespie standard.
