Excellent Art Farmer septet sessions from '53 and '54, issued on the highly collectible New Jazz series. Features excellent playing by Horace Silver, Art Taylor, Charlie Rouse, Quincy Jones, and others.
Original 1962 MONO New Jazz Pressing: ~Purple 'New Jazz' labels with silver print~ ~'Long Playing Microgroove' on labels~ ~'RVG' stamped into dead wax on both sides~
~'Status' logo and serial number on back~
CONDITION: Cover: VG+. 1-inch seam split at top. Some water damage to upper and lower right sides. Labels: VG++. Vinyl: VG++ to NM-. Glossy vinyl with only the faintest sleeve marks visible under direct light. Record shows the slightest edge warp that does not affect playback on either side on my system. Gorgeous analogue sound quality throughout.
