This album is one of 77 that I purchased directly from Mosaic starting in the late 1980's. Quickly recognizing the quality of the Mosaic issues, I decided to set aside these albums as a collection in view of their likely value in future years. Consequently each record was played only once. The box and booklets are virtually unhandled.
The five LPs in this album are in near mint condition. The booklet, with the discography, is in near mint condition. This discography is invaluable to jazz collectors.
The box shows a tiny scrape in the upper left corner of the cover art. There is also a small ( 1/32" in) separation at the top of the spine. Other than these minor flaws, the box would grade near mint.
