Description
ART, SUPERNATURAL FAIRY TALES, UK ISLAND LP 1967 1st MONO PINK EYE, SPOOKY TOOTH
Art – Supernatural Fairy Tales Supernatural Fairy Tales is the only LP by Art, a band formerly known as The V.I.P. ’s. The album contains mostly band compositions plus a cover of The Young Rascals’ "Come On Up" and Buffalo Springfield’s "For What It’s Worth". All members of Art sooner or later met again in Spooky Tooth. This is the very rare 1st mono press with the rough textured pink Island label with the orange/black eye! It does have numerous noticeable marks and plays with some clicks and pops and light background crackle but nothing that spoils your enjoyment of the music. So to sum up it doesn ’t look too good but it’s still a great listen! Would make a good collection filler!
Side One: I Think I’m Going Weird; What’s That Sound; African Thing; Room With A View; Flying Anchors; Supernatural Fairy Tale.
Side Two: Love Is Rea; Come On Up; Brothers, Dads And Mothers; Talkin’ To Myself; Alive Not Dead; Rome Take Away Three.
The album is on Island Records, ILP 967. Matrix side one: ILP+967+A (stamped). Matrix side two: ILP+967+B (stamped).
1967. UK pressing. Mono.

Condition: (as Record Collector’s grading system)
Vinyl side 1: good (has numerous noticeable marks and plays with some clicks and pops and light backround crackle but nothing that spoils your enjoyment of the music, it still a great listen, plays with no jumps or sticks. Also has a slight warp that doesn ’t affect the playback in any way).
Vinyl side 2: good (has numerous noticeable marks and plays with some clicks and pops and light backround crackle but nothing that spoils your enjoyment of the music, it still a great listen, plays with no jumps or sticks. Also has a slight warp that doesn ’t affect the playback in any way).
Cover (front laminated): good (has quite a few creases, some dirty marks on the front, fair bit of wear and a name scored out on the back, but no tears, rips, splits, etc).
I have tried to give my honest opinion as to the condition. I will give a complete refund to the buyer if they are not happy with the record.
Any questions, don’t hesitate to ask.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM:
MINT: I very rarely use the mint grade. Only records that are still sealed or records that even under the strongest of lights are completely unmarked. Also covers that are unmarked/uncreased in any way and still look brand new.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler. Payment strictly by PayPal only. Postal discounts available for multiple purchases - Please email for details. 525 (GS 6.6.5 (525))
