Original 1st German pressing on pink rim Island label w/STAMPED A1/B1 matrix numbers
This is one of 2 original Germany first pressings I am listing; this one STILL SEALED in Shrinkwrap.
BOTH are the EXACT SAME ISSUE. The other was sealed in an importer's outer bag, taped at top.

See my other listing for that one and to see PINK RIM labels and Stamped Matrix numbers.
...Since I could peel the tape on that other one, I opened it and photographed the labels/vinyl,
which will be EXACTLY the same as this one; both w/same EXACT cover text/numbers/info
including the uncorrected misprint "MILLS" credit (for "STILLS") on back cover, for the
Side 1, track 2 song: "What's That Sound" written by Steve Stills (Buffalo Springfield).

They were both bought from my record store in the 1970's by original owner (my employee and best friend).
We received this title, like many other imports at the time, in both Shrink wrap and/or taped PVC outer bag.
I can 100% guarantee the PINK RIM labels and STAMPED Matrix Numbers for this unopened one.
.
MATRIX NUMBERS (stamped)
...as on my identical NEWLY OPENED copy of the exact same 1st Germany issue.
(see my other listing for that one - with LABEL and VINYL photos - showing stamped matrix #s).
*This SEALED copy here will be EXACTLY the same Vinyl and Labels.
SIDE ONE: M 88395 A-1
SIDE TWO: M 88395 B-1
"Made in Germany" also stamped in dead wax.

NOTE
AS PER DISCOGS:
"Though clearly labeled as stereo on the disc labels, this issue is entirely in mono, with the same mix as the original UK '67 issue".

Legendary pre-Spooky Tooth Psych album (and the only LP they released as ART) with plenty of great prog moves - featuring
Greg Ridley, Mike Harrison, Luther Grosvenor and Mike Kellie. Formerly called THE V.I.P.s, they became SPOOKY TOOTH
after adding Gary Wright soon after recording this album.

___________________________________________________

From an utterly vast and deep record collection, from my life-long best friend...
who was a DJ at the Radio Station I co-founded in the 1970's - and who worked for me at my California record store in the '70s and '80s.
Sadly he has now finally left this mortal coil, bequeathing me his deep Vinyl Mine.
.
Several thousand records (mostly LP's, but also hundreds of 45's), several hundred collectible and Rare, Out of Print CDs and Box Sets,
plus posters and other memorabilia will all eventually be listed.
*Now in the midst of preparing a large AUCTION series (over 100 LPs) of prime Prog rock, Prog Psych, Electronic, Synth and related vintage LPs
all from this collection; probably 2 weeks until I am ready to list those (currently photographing).

Truly a great (and enormous) collection!

* I reserve the right to cancel any bids by any international bidders with poor or very low feedback.

.

I do NOT ever want to exclude or deny all bidders from any particular country, even though a few specific countries are responsible for almost all spurious "not received" or "not as described" claims over the years. This evolves... for instance in France, buyers from Ile de France seem, more and more, to be very prone to make a false claim. (one of my earliest, very best customers was from Ile de France but moved to Belgium some years back) ...so even there, I hate to exclude ALL buyers from there; however I cannot possibly afford to be scammed due to the unlucky result of a winning bidder being a bad actor. IF you are from that area and want to bid/buy, simply contact me first and give me good reason to trust you.

Also it seems to be the fun game recently for some in Germany, Spain and Italy to buy far more than the collector can afford and make false claims on many of them. Again I will need to know you can be trusted. Many, many great buyers in all those countries, but plenty of trouble comes from them as well. Brazil ha terrible post/mail problems. Italy has long Customs hold times. In NONE of those cases is it my fault and I will not lose out because of other countries' problems beyond my control. Occasional problems from China and Russia -I reserve the right to cancel a sale or bids from any buyer, case-by-case if I note problematic behavior or red flags.

Having said that, I will have no need whatsoever to take action for any buyers with solid, good reputations and feedback. I sell regularly to all those places (though Ile de France bidders will definitely need to contact me FIRST before bidding). I wish there was no need for this caution, but I must and I do protect myself. If you are honest, responsible and genuine, we will never have a problem and may bid buy with no worries.
