Found this gem recently among a collection at an estate sale.
There is some storage damage on the top of the box set.
The signature is the main attraction here.
I do not have the equipment to play the 78's. However, the last two records in the box set look well taken care of. The first record has some of the paper stuck to it (picture 5) I know these discs are extremely fragile, so I do not want to start messing with them. I only took one out to get a picture of it, handling it very easily! There is some dust present on top of the LP's where they were sitting in storage.
The case has some damage to the top areas. (see photos)
The signature is great! It's dated and written, "To Joe" I will say that other 78's I saw, "Joe" had written his name on some of them. I am assuming that he saw Art Tatum perform. There is an old underground jazz club here in Lexington that, I believe, still exists. It's more of a invitational thing now.
