Description
Beautiful copy of the original 1958 pressing of Arthur Lyman's classic Taboo LP on High Fidelity R-806. This is the original stereo version in a mono cover with the catalog number R-806, but with a stereo sticker and the number SR-806 on the stereo label. The stereo version is absolutely incredible and just has to be heard to be believed. The mono is lovely but can’t compare. This is truly one of the top classics of the exotica era, and sounds better than ever. This copy is just beautiful, as well. The disc is gorgeous and plays pretty much flawlessly and just beautifully. There are some totally superficial sleeve scuffs but they don’t make the slightest sound. Really this copy plays just about perfectly. The cover only has light wear, only a touch of minor corner and edge wear, but really barely. This is just a beautiful copy, inside and out. This is a top, lovely original, hard to beat.
