ARTURO DELMONI Songs My Mother Taught Me (John Marks JMR One) Meg Bachman Vas MINT!
RARE US first pressing of Arturo Delmoni`s audiophile recording "Songs My Mother Taught Me", on John Marks Records (1992). Featuring Meg Bachman Vas on piano.
"Some of these pieces can be found on recordings by Perlman, Zukerman, Gingold, and others, but no one plays them any more beautifully or convincingly. It is the sort of infectiously attractive disc that brings knowing listeners in from the next room to ask, "Who is that wonderful violinist?" He's Arturo Delmoni, and you should hear him!" - Alan Heatherington, American Record Guide.
"Some violinists strike sparks; Arturo Delmoni gives off warmth. This is one of our most beloved recordings and great favorite with listeners of all backgrounds. It reaches out to people who may not know much about classical music, they just know that they want beauty in their lives. What distinguishes Songs My Mother Taught Me are the things that distinguish all Delmoni’s recordings: emotional resonance, a very inward looking, sensitive musical approach, simply gorgeous tone, and technique so good that it need not call attention to itself." - John Marks Records website.
