Description
I have been an obsessive collector of vinyl LP's and singles for many years, and from the very first I have always been very careful about the condition of the records I have bought. Once in my posession the records have been well stored and always very carefully handled. If the records have been played at all, it has always been on a good quality hi - fi system, the deck being a Linn LP12 deck with a top of the range arm and cartridge.
As a result, most of the many thousands of items in my collection are in excellent condition or better.
Now, in order to create more space at home, I have decided to cut the collection back to a core of my personal favourite artistes, and to dispose of the remainder. These I intend to list for auction over the coming months.
For auction here is one of the legendary rare, psych recordings being an original German pressing of the LP by Arzachel simply entitled 'Arzachel' on the Bellaphon/Roulette label, number BLPS19113, a recording dating from 1972. What is more, this one is a fabulous copy.
The laminated cover is in great condition, with minimal shelf and corner wear and only one of two of the tiniest edge creases - a truly spectacular survivor in a very strong excellent condition. The original lined inner sleeve, which is plain white is slightly toned and folding in the flip backs but is otherwise without fault.
The vinyl is bright and clean except for one visible light shaded rub mark near the end of side 2 track 1. My Linn plays straight through this area with no effect and not the slightest effect on the audible performance, which is bright and clean throughout. This is reflected in the condition of the labels which is excellent, showing only the minorest of spindle hole wear in strong edgewise lighting. I would guess this hasn't seen too many plays in its lifetime.
A stunningly rare album then in EX/EX condition, sure to please the keenest collector.
