Description
l Asaka wa Maki: “Cat Nap” (Express – ETP-90196 – 1982) (Record: Mint/ Jacket: Mint). Here you have a quite rare Asakawa Maki LP out of 1982. I do not why but her later efforts are more difficult to track down that her initial efforts. This one depicts Maki in a later stage of her career, still great all the way but the tonal color of her compositions has changed a bit. She still sound as dark and smoke filled as a sugar less cup of coffee on a moonless night but the instrumentation that backs her up is more electrically charged, more rocky than her early work and less folky. Still great, cause she is stunning in whatever way she expresses her self. Quite rare disc.
