1958 Ferras Violin w. Silvestri White Gold ASD 278
Excellent 1958 issue of Christian Ferras as violin soloist in ~
Tchaikovsky Concerto in D Major OP.35 & Mendelssohn Concerto in E Minor OP.64 with Silvestri and the Philharmonia.
Flip back gold stereophonic stickered sleeve with White and gold labels. Lovely excellent all round condition.
As you can see in the photos, this is a HMV pressing # ASD 278 ~ white and gold label.
The disc is in excellent condition, the surfaces are bright and glossy.
Condition:
Visual: Record Excellent (EX) ~ Visually, under very bright light, a few very minor surface marks can be seen, most likely from where the record has been removed from its sleeve.
Label: Excellent (EX) ~ There is just a couple of spindle marks which indicates that this record has only been played a handful of times.
Sleeve: Excellent + (EX+) ~ The sleeve is in superb condition with its only fault being a little light crease top left corner.
An excellent example of an extremely rare record.
- Mint - The record is in brand new condition With no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover & any extra items (inserts, etc) are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Un-played should be Mint.
- Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging may have slight wear and / or creasing.
- Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
- Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, may have some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc.
