Condition: -If you have seen any of the other record auctions I listed before, you know I don't as a rule sell many records, so I don't feel confident giving just a rating grade for a listing. I will do my best to describe the record as best I can.
VINYL: VISUAL: This record is in excellent shape there is a two inch long surface scuff mark on each side, see the close-up photos below of each side, you should be able to make out the scuffs. These are light surface marks, almost impossible to see in normal light, I had to get the harsh halogen lighting right to be able to get them to show up in the photos (I have a very hard time seeing these in normal light). There is one tiny scuff like these on side one, also very light. NONE of these effect the sound at all, no pops, no tics, and no skips. Labels are fine, no spindle marks that I can see. Vinyl is very shiny, looks like new.
SOUND: These records are uncleaned by me, I don't have a pro-type cleaning system. There is some background noise on each side, it is static-y, dust type noise that I believe a good cleaning would get rid of, most if not all of it. Listening to parts, the music quality sounds wonderful, I don't hear any wear to the quality of the music, violin and orchestra sound great. The record has been well cared for, but not played for over a decade except for the testing I did.
COVER: The stiff cardboard sleeve cover shows some slight shelfware, some light smudging on back and along the top edge of front, very slight bumps on corners, some yellowing with age of the white cardboard of back cover. Front of cover the glossy finish is in excellent shape. Slight rough edge along cover opening, but I think this is the way it was made. No tears or creases. In the best condition of any of the covers I've had listed. Has original lined inner sleeve, in good shape with a few light creases.

PLEASE READ THESE PARAGRAPHS ABOUT SHIPPING AND POSTAGE COST:
As you may have noticed lately, the shipping costs you see in auctions has really gone up! This is because in the last year the Post Office has not only raised its prices, it has also changed the way it determines how much it will cost to ship a package. The old way was based on the weight of the package, not the size of the box (unless it was very large). But now both the weight AND size of the package determines the cost of shipping.
As an example: Take the Priority Mail cost of sending from California (where I am) to New York two packages that each weigh exactly 2 pounds. The first box measures (in inches): 12x12x12, the second box measures 13x12x12. It will cost $7.50 to send the 12x12x12 inch box, but it will cost $25.05!!! to send the 13x12x12 inch box, even though they both weigh the same! Yikes! And if the box were bigger it could cost even more!
The reason I write this is to reassure you that I will always do my best to find the least expensive way of getting you your item. I will list the best shipping options available and I will use the smallest box that I can SAFELY package an item in, if it will save you money. (I pride myself on my packing, and I won't cut corners when it comes to careful packing. Check my feedback). This goes for foreign buyers as well as those in the USA.
And you pay ONLY the actual postage cost. I never charge for packing materials or charge a handling fee. And if I do happen to make a mistake in how much it costs to ship an item and you overpay on postage, I will ALWAYS refund the overcharge.
