ASD 326 W/G – STRAUSS: DON QUIXOTE – KEMPE BERLIN P.O.
HMV stereo LP on white / gold label, catalogue number ASD 326, Richard Strauss : Don Quixote and Till Eulenspiegel. Rudolf Kempe conducting the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra – Paul Tortelier (solo cello); Giusto Cappone (viola); Siegfried Borries (violin).
The disc is beautifully clean and shiny but at the beginning of side 1 there is a 1.5cm scratch which produces about 40 light ticks. On the label on side 1 there is a "Factory Sample – Not For Sale" sticker. The sleeve is intact but there is some corner damage and age discolouration.
