Description
ASD 521 W/g HMV STEREO UK LP 1st
“English String Music” - Elgar: Introduction and Allegro for Strings and Serenade in E minor and Vaughan Williams: Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis and Fantasia on “Greensleeves".
performed by the Sinfonia of London conducted by Sir John Barbirolli.
The record is on HMV Records, Stereo, ASD 521, White/ Gold/ Red text labels,
Made in Gt. Britain, 1st pressing, 1963.
The Vinyl itself is in Excellent + condition and appears to have been played very few times. It still maintains its even black glossiness and plays beautifully.
The outersleeve is in Excellent condition with superficial signs of storage wear. It is still an excellent example of this beautiful album.
The original innersleeve is excellent condition.
I grade all my records according to The Record Collector Magazines grading system.
I always test play my records unless they are in near mint condition and appear unplayed but the description will state this. I don't sell records with deep scratches or marks that affect the sound quality and enjoyment.
The record will be cleaned by myself and packaged in a protective plastic cover and then posted in a custom cardboard record mailer with a cardboard stiffener.
