On offer is The LP - Barbirolli Conducts English String Music, Sir John Barbirolli Conducts The Sinfonia Of London Orchestra, Elgar : Introduction and Allegro for Strings - Serenade in E minor, Vaughan Williams : Fantasia on a theme by Thomas Tallis - Fantasia on 'Greensleeves'.

1963 Stereophonic Pressing on the HMV Records Label - ASD 521, Matrix No's 2YEA 705-1 & 2YEA 706-1.

Vinyl -  EX - The vinyl is in Excellent condition and looks very little played, The record retains a lovely sheen with no obvious marks or label wear, It plays Excellent throughout, The only Small Blemish is a 1cm very light hairline at the start of side 1 which is only noticeable under strong light, it causes some very minor tics which are only really audible on very close listening, Some tiny light static crackle and some small tics were heard in places, I have found this is very common on these pressings even when the vinyl surfaces are still in as excellent a condition as they are on this one. 

Sleeve - Vg+ -  Provided in the Original Sleeve as pictured which has some minor age related wear, minor creasing and edge wear etc although nothing major considering it's 50+ years old as can be seen in the pics.

Vinyl - Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality.

Record Collector's Grading System.

1. Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

2. Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

3. Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

4. Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc...

5. Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise: it may even jump. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

6. Poor: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise etc.. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

7. Bad: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
