Description
1963 release . An extremely rare white-gold recording of the Brahms Double Concerto in A minor Op.102 played by Paul Tortelier and Christian Ferras.
Also Beethoven's Sonata No 1 in D Major Op 12 No 1 with Ferras & Pierre Barbizet.
Matrix numbers - 2 YEA 731-3 and 2 YEA 732 -3.
This record plays beautifully. There is some feint but infrequent surface noise with , on Side 1 an occasional feint tick, 3 repeat feint ticks and a further 5 repeat feint ticks. On Side 2 there are two ticks.
I am offering a no quibble returns policy ( excluding postage costs).
The sleeve is in excellent condition. Slight ringwear. The opening edge has an intermittent white line which runs down the length of the sleeve and was a result of the removal of the plastic sheath which has protected the sleeve for many years ( see second image).Similarly on the reverse there are intermittent marks along this same edge. A 1cm square label is in the top rh corner of the back face of the sleeve with the letter E printed on it.
I have an extensive LP collection, acquired over the last 40 years and covering all genres which I now intend to put up for sale but I have no feedback profile yet, but don't let this put you off - see returns policy below.
