This live recording of kosmische titans Ash Ra Tempel was captured in 2000 as part of Julian Cope's CORNUCOPEA Festival, at the Royal Festival Hall in London. With Manuel Gottsching on guitars and Klaus Schulze on synths, the scene is set for two masters to set adrift in a whirlwind of bubbling analogue pulses and tastefully treated guitar. Moving through more glacial, atmospheric pastures onto steadily rolling movement before crescendoing in a hailstorm of wailing solos and a theatrical level of bombast, it's a perfect document of a less-explored era for these legends of German electronic music.
