FIRST PRESSING
Original LP+12 release
ONLY COPY CURRENTLY ON EBAY AS OF 5-7-2017.
Extremely rare German copy with original bonus 12” maxi single included of this 1980s Darkwave band. Very rare LP and highly collectible. Pretty much impossible to find in the US and tough enough in Europe
Notes from the fine bulksell web site: “Here we have Asmodi Bizarr’s classic Sunsierra LP, a landmark in female fronted post-punk in the veins of Xmal Deutschland, Stimmen Der Stille, Cry of the Innocent, etc. The band hailed from Düsseldorf, Germany and released three albums and one demo 7” before calling it a day in the early 90s. Members of the band also recorded a 7” compilation track under the name Aspirin. “SINSIERRA” is their first LP, released in 1986 as an LP+12” package, featuring two of the band’s best songs as the bonus LP cuts. To those who haven’t heard it yet, it’s one of my all-time favorites.”
This is their first LP, released in 1986 as an LP+12” package, featuring two of the band’s best songs as part of the three additional LP cuts on bonus 12”SIN. The multiple disc package is insanely difficult to find together.
Note: This LP is EX / VG and the 12”SIN is EX / EX. Obviously, whoever owned these discs originally, played the LP pretty much exclusively.
Stored vertically in a smoke-free environment since I picked it up used at Wax Trax Record Shop in Denver, Colorado, circa 1988.
