ASSASIANS OF HOPE (misspelled) / ASSASSINS OF HOPE - SLOWMOTION SUICIDE (14-TRACK CASSETTE) F.O RECKORDS / F**K OFF RECORDS (SELF-RELEASED) - NO CODE - UK 1981 - WITH A4 SHEET WITH REVIEW AND ADDRESS Super scarce original 1981 cassette-only release by obscure and great anarcho-punk band Assassins Of Hope (misspelled Assassians Of Hope on front cover) on London's legendary DIY cassette label F**K Off Reckords (see Astronauts / Zounds / Instant Automatons / Alternative TV / Here & Now and many others) - genuine original and almost impossible to find, I think it should be a very limited release of a few dozens of copies. The music is pure anarcho punk of great style and the band unfortunately never released any records but just some tracks on DIY compilation cassettes from the period and this 'lone' cassette-only album. Comes with the folded card cover and a sheet (I think it's a page from a fanzine) with short review ("..a tape which is not very good quality but makes up to it in speed. Best track 'Nothing On Me'..") and band's address. A great and 100% genuine original item from the DIY punk and new wave cassette scene of the early '80s and in very nice condition. CONDITION (I don't use higher than ex/ex) cover: vg+ cassette: vg+ * no problems, just wouldn't use higher than vg+ for these old DIY and poor-quality cassettes, always with minor defects depending on the quality of the equipment too (play-tested with no problems on mine which is average quality). P&P *** I combine shipping and I charge the actual costs, please do not pay the automated eBay invoice but wait for my combined invoice before payment, thanks *** Registered (with insurance) through ELTA (Hellenic National Post): GBP12.50 in Europe / GBP14.50 for all other countries except USA* / GBP6.50 to Greece * For USA only it will be through Courier Service GBP55.00 - ELTA services from Greece to USA is temporarily stopped due to the new Tariffs (and until the terms are cleared) so at the time shipping to USA is possible only through Courier service which is rather expensive ** I'm a collector myself so strict packing policies applied.
