Description
ITEM --- This is the 1965 "Original Verve Records Stereo Pressing / LP/Vinyl / #V6-8608" of the album "The Astrud Gilberto Album" from Astrud Gilberto (with Antonio Carlos Jobim) that is no longer in print (OOP). Please see all photos!
This is an original pressing with the Van Gelder stamp (see matrix / runouts picture)!
Grading / Condition:
- Jacket / Sleeve / Cover - in great condition overall, a whisper of ring on cover, some color fade on the white back cover, hey the record is 60 years old. minor corner wear, spine excellent. The colors still pop/standout and comes with the original Verve inner sleeve also shows normal age fade.
- Record / Album - in fantastic shape, super clean, no visible scratches, in near mint condition and the labels are in great shape as well. The vinyl was cleaned on my professional VPI Cyclone record cleaning machine and sounds great. There is an occasional tiny bit of background noise but really nothing much.
- I play tested the total LP and was blown away with Astrud's beautiful voice. The Song on side 1 "And roses and roses" just made me fall in love with her.
- Play tested on my Thorens TD 190 turntable with an Ortofon red cartridge
- Shipping is $5.38
Note --- I'm beginning to list from my own private collection (smoke free / one owner / +30 years) of over 4,000 records (ALL genres, Sealed / Used including Latin, Jazz & Classical).
