HERE WE HAVE A SUPERB, UK PEGASUS (PEG 1) FIRST PRESSING (July 1971) OF ATOMIC ROOSTER'S TREMENDOUS "In Hearing Of" LP - ALL IN BEAUTIFUL, BARELY PLAYED CONDITION


THE LP IS PRESSED ON QUALITY MID/HEAVYWEIGHT VINYL WHICH DELIVERS ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING, CRYSTAL CLEAR AND VERY SHARP AUDIO
THE FIRST ISSUE PEGASUS LABELS HAVE A MATTE FINISH
FIRST PRESS MATRIX: PEG 1 A-1U (etched "TERRY") / PEG 1 B-1U
WITH THE EARLY MOTHERS/STAMPERS: 1/GO and 2/RM

SUPERB, BARELY PLAYED UK FIRST PRESSING OF A TREMENDOUS LP AND IN ALL HONESTY I THINK A FINER COPY WOULD BE VERY HARD TO LOCATE INDEED

LABELS: The labels are CLEAN and BRIGHT with NO evident spindle traces and I would guess that this copy has hardly EVER been played. The original owner has (neatly) written '1' and '2' on each side for reference (otherwise there is no indication of which side is which) but I do not think this spoils the otherwise MINT appearance of the labels
VINYL Visual: Both surfaces have their original DEEP, LIKE-NEW GLOSSY SHEEN and are practically UNMARKED. Beautiful record
VINYL Audio: The audio is absolutely SENSATIONAL - CRYSTAL CLEAR, RICH, SHARP, STRONG and VIBRANT SOUND. TREMENDOUS SOUND QUALITY. There are NO scratches, NO sticks, NO jumps, NO clicks and barely any surface noise. The album plays to a extremely high standard with SUPERB AUDIO CLARITY, NO groove-wear and NO distortion and must be very critically graded as EXCELLENT+ for audio. SOUNDS ABSOLUTELY SENSATIONAL and NOT over-graded in ANY way as I use STRICT RECORD COLLECTOR grading standards (please refer to my feedback and 'about me' page). GREAT COPY OF A TREMENDOUS LP
SLEEVE: The 1st issue matte gatefold cover is in BEAUTIFUL, EXCELLENT+ condition. This sleeve is incredibly prone to wear (being untreated) but this is is a SUPERB example. The outer surfaces are CLEAN and BRIGHT with the barest minimum of rubbing and the inner surfaces are PRISTINE and FACTORY-FRESH. There is only the lightest of storage wear to the edges/spine where all the text is SHARP and BOLD (please see photos). Overall a SUPERB EXAMPLE of this easily worn sleeve
