So, a bit of blurb on the description of this auction. In 1996 I went abroad to study and had to sell the decks and vinyl to finance it. I kept some vinyl aside which I thought I might use for sampling upon my return and get back into some amateur music production on my Atari. I put the selection of vinyl into a flight case and into my parents attic. On my return my interests were on other things and the flight case of vinyl was all forgotten about!
22 years later after years of nagging from the parents they finally persuaded me to see what in the attic of mine and remove it. This is when I stumbled the across the flight case of vinyl! Honestly, I thought I sold it all before I went abroad so it was a nice time capsule and reminiscent moment, some of the covers still have the original price tags on them £4.99 for a piece of vinyl…. "Who remembers paying that!" Well my DJ days are long over so I have no use for this vinyl.
I have visually inspected all the vinyl and are all in VG / VG+. The covers fair the same condition, some are within the original screen-printed covers and the others are in generic covers. I have acquired a friend’s turntable and listed to all the vinyl and ripped them to digital. All the vinyl plays fine, no skips or jumps or any major surface noise. They are some slight surface marks but for vinyl that is 30 plus years old this is to be expected. 81 Vinyl Records in total.
The delivery part: I am more than happy to arrange postage for this item. The weight of this flight case is approximately 20KG. The best price I could find is the with courier DPD at a cost of £15. Of course, your more than happy to collect from me also, but with the cost of petrol these days delivery is probably cheaper!?
