ITALIAN SOUNDTRACK HOLY GRAIL!

Offered for sale is some of the best Italian vintage Funk sound and to me a personal holy grail of Italian Soundtracks - Original Score for the movie "BLAZING MAGNUM" aka UNA MAGNUM SPECIAL PER TONY SAITTA / STRANGE SHADOWS IN A EMPTY ROOM directed by Alberto de Martino aka Martin Herbert and starring international actors Stuart Whitman, John Saxon, Martin Landau. Music composed and directed by Italian Jazz and Soundtracks master ARMANDO TROVAJOLI. An Italian raw and violent Poliziesco cult and a total Cop Funk masterpiece. The Score follows 2 main themes, arranged and developed for the entire album in several variations. Mindmelting, totally kiler vibes - dusty fingers / crate diggers and beat makers worldwide top shelf with loads of breathtaking samples. Gigantic Funk beats and Jazz-Funk arrangements superbly played by the big Italian Rai TV orchestra featuring Silvano Chimenti's Funky guitars / E.Restuccia's killing drums / E.Pieranunzi & A.Trovajoli piano & synthesizer selections / hot horns session with Dino Piana, Oscar Valdambrini, Alberto Corvini and others / strings / Tonino Ferrelli is probably the man at the bass. Insane aggressive and biting riffs like gun bullets for action scenes and pursuits / perfect Bboy drum breaks and backbeats / sleaze synthesizer effects and spacey progressive sounds / Lounge and Drama Score vibes. An ESSENTIAL record for addicts of the genre.

Our action includes the original 100x140cam giant poster in EX shape, originally exhibited in cinema advertiments of the time.

Our soundclip starts with infamous beats of "TONY'S BACK", my fave jam from this outstanding masterpiece which is an alternative version of the main theme (BLAZING MAGNUM): impressive Restuccia's drums pattern with Funky mental rhythms; the backbeat drums with the orchestra accompaniment makes this track easily one of the best grooves I ever heard. Following "LOUISE" gives the second main theme of the Soundtrack with its Lounge Jazz melody. "BLAZING MAGNUM" Score principal theme totally destroys everything: huge drum breaks and horns session, Funky guitars, strings and everything you could desire for your top Poliziesco sound ever! - "THE PUZZLE IS COMPLETE" along with "BLACK PEARL NECKLACE" and "WEIRD PHONE CALL" are synthesizer themes recalling LOUISE melody with great orchestral arrangements. "BLIND SUSPENSE" gives oustanding Drama beats with some mad spacey Moog effects.  In "THEME FOR A MURDERER" returns the main theme with stronger and catching horns and the same killer groovy pattern. "A VERY STRANGE PARTY" gets back the 'Blind Suspance' with loads of orchestral variations and Progressive loops. "THE STORY CONCLUDES" is the final theme. From start to finish, the most Killer Italian Soundtrack!
