Two-record-set, original Swedish pressing from 1977 on PROPRIUS, PROP 7778-79, original orange PROPHONE label, earliest "A/B/A/B"-matrices. Extensive liner-notes (in Swedish) inside the nice gatefold-cover. Live-recording made at the “Stampen” Pawnshop Jazz Club in the Stockholm Old Town, December 6. & 7., 1976. Tasty, swinging and unique versions of jazz-standards out of the american songbook, with all musicians being in top-form.

Considered by most audiophile music-lovers worldwide to be one of the finest live recordings ever made, sounding as immediate, natural and direct as you can imagine. Outstanding sonics, transparancy and accuracy of the positioning of the instruments. Highly recommended audiophile masterpiece. Please look: I also offer the ultra-rare second part of the Pawnshop-recordings in my auctions, released on PROPRIUS in 1991.

Condition: both records look and play in mint-. The gatefold-cover has a beautiful front and back, the inner of the gatefold-cover is perfect (no discolourations etc.), all seams/spine are intact with just slight rub in a few spots, slightest corner-wear, overall ex++. Please note: there are a few white spots/parts on the cover looking like abrasions, but they are NOT, they are part of the painting, e.g. in the upper right corners of front & back.

Grading & Cleaning:

• the record has been cleaned on my professional HANNL record cleaning machine

• after that I playgraded it (completely or at least in parts) on my Rega Planar 9, Moving Coil cartridge by EINSTEIN:TU-3 Super Fine Line ( please consider that the playback might differ a bit depending on your own equipment )

• I also visually graded the record under a strong light

• only an unplayed record is mint, the highest grading for a used record is mint- ! My basic gradings are: mint – ex – vg.

• cleaned records are stored in a new deluxe innersleeve and they are placed in a new PVC protection-sleeve !
