Original Japanese pressing from 1979 on DENON, OX-7171-ND. Recorded Nippon Columbia Studio No.1, June 20/24 1978. Contains a recordsited gatefold-insert with photos and extensive linernotes in Japanese, German, English & French. THIS RECORD WAS EXCLUSIVELY RELEASED IN JAPAN.

Line-up: Janos Starker / cello - Shigeo Neriki / piano

Tracks: side 1: Cassado /Suite for Violoncello Solo - Schubert /Sonatine in D Major for Violoncello and Piano

                side 2: Chopin /Sonata in G Minor for Violoncello and Piano

Condition: side 1 looks & plays in mint- . Side 2 has a small, hard to see tiny scratch at the end of the Allegro Moderato ( first track ), this causes ca. 25 tics on a length of ca. 40 seconds; the rest of side 2 looks & plays in mint-.

Zustand: sehr seltene, ausschließlich in Japan veröffentlichte Starker-LP. Seite 1 ist optisch & akkustisch in mint- ; Seite 2 hat einen kleinen dünnen und nur schwer zu sehenden Kratzer am Ende des ersten Teils ( Allegro Moderate ), dieser verursacht ca. 25 tics auf einer Länge von ca. 40 Sekunden; der Rest von Seite 2 ist optisch & akkustisch in mint-.

Grading & Cleaning:

• the record has been cleaned on my professional HANNL record cleaning machine

• after that I playgraded it (completely or at least in parts) on my Rega Planar 9, Moving Coil cartridge by EINSTEIN:TU-3 Super Fine Line ( please consider that the playback might differ a bit depending on your own equipment )

• I also visually graded the record under a strong light

• only an unplayed record is mint, the highest grading for a used record is mint- ! My basic gradings are: mint – ex – vg.

• cleaned records are stored in a new deluxe innersleeve and they are placed in a new PVC protection-sleeve !
