One of the best sounding kick-butt blues recordings you could ever ask for.
--------
The recording was about as pure as you could get. It was recorded live to 2 track at 30 ips on a modified ATR 2 track analog tape machine with Neuman, AKG, Telefunken and Sennheiser microphones and, of course, Audioquest cables. Mastering was done by Bernie Grundman, and the pressing was done on 180 gram vinyl by RTI.
It is one of the last LP's that Audioquest did.
By the early 1990's cd's had pretty much taken over the marketplace, but Audioquest still wanted to provide LP's for their die-hard fans so they released this album in a unique generic cover with a pocket on the front where they could insert the artwork from the cd to reduce to cost for this very limited edition.
--------------------------------------------
The record is in great condition with no marks or scratches of any kind. The unique special release jacket is also excellent with just some tiny corner bumps and tiny crack at the bottom spine. The booklet is great with no rips or tears. It has been professionally cleaned on a VPI 17 record cleaning machine.
The photos are of the actual item for sale.
