Description
Auction is for a RARE ORIGINAL CANADIAN PRESSING of AUDLEY WILLIAMS & HIS QUARTET'S "HIP HUG-HER" LP from 1969 on Abel Records. Such an overlooked and killer title from Jamaican transplant, Williams, that very rarely comes up especially in such nice condition. Beautiful funky latin/boogaloo jazz styles abound, this will surely not disappoint fans of these styles. Stand-out's are "Comin Home Baby", "Hip Hug-Her" and the highlight "Fat Back". Highest recommendation here. Cover has some light ringwear and mild staining at bottom of back cover. Vinyl is absolutely flawless... Beautiful copy!
Condition of Cover/Vinyl is VG++ / NM.
Shipping/handling for 1 LP is $9.99 within Canada, $10.99 to the United States and $17.99 Internationally. 2 to 3 LP's is $15.99 to the United States and $33.99 Internationally. Slightly more for Western Canadian Provinces, Australia and Asia (Japan, Russia, etc). Rates can be confirmed at www.canadapost.ca.
