Description
As a sideline to the usual business of my eBay store, MAGPIE & CO. SALVAGE, I will be offering selections from my music collection for auction.
UNCLEAN by PSYCHIC TV
An ultra rare copy of the first release from Psychic TV. Black vinyl. Cover still in its original shrinkwrap. Both vinyl and cover are in Near Mint condition. What sets this copy apart from others is the elaborate inscription in gold ink on the back written by John Balance. He has drawn an arrow pointing at the title track and written "song co-written by myself. me, bitter? Geff Rushton 96 aka John Balance aka (drawing of a star)". Peter Christopherson has then signed his name underneath. The content obviously places this inscription after John and Sleazy's departure from Psychic TV and points to the bad blood that existed between them and Genesis P-Orridge. Other than the interesting post-Industrial footnote that this inscription represents, I find it noteworthy that it includes both Balance's given name and the name he chose for himself. I can't ever remember seeing another item that he signed with both names. A fantastic item for any collector.
