Description

This is a VERY RARE AUTOGRAPHED Motley Crue Stick to Your Guns Original 45 from the Coffman Collection. This was their first single and there were only 1000 copies of this ever made. And this one has been signed by Tommy and Nikki!!
This is rare for many reasons, however for anyone who hasn't seen the single, the version of "Stick to Your Guns" is the ORIGINAL version of the song. It is different than the version on the Leathür copy of Too Fast For Love.
This record was pressed under the "Leather" label. The band changed the name to "Leathür" AFTER the single was pressed making this a truly rare piece of Motley Crue history. As most collectors know, there is a Bootleg Copy of this single floating around. Here is the best way to figure out if the single is real or not:
The Cover (Real)

  • Glossy Cover
  • White Outline Boarders around the photos not eh back of the sleeve with detailed images
The Cover (Bootleg)
  • Dull photo copied cover. Back Sleeve is photocopied
The Vinyl (Real)
  • Glitter on the center of the white label (look at it in the sun)
  • Color of the vinyl is lighter on the bootleg. The thickness of the original is relatively thin.
       The Matrix Numbers are Key
  • Side A: L-5354, MC 001 A, R-7224, JS XTAL
  • Side B: L-5354-X, MC 001 B, R-7225, JS XTAL
  • On the "B" side, the "L" in "L-5354-X" is superimposed over an "R". The "R" is fainter than the "L". It looks as if the "R" was a mistake and the "L" was etched over it. The "L" is slightly deeper into the vinyl than the "R" beneath it.
The Vinyl (Bootleg)
  • Side A matrix numbers: DHP-1, L20462-A
  • Side B matrix numbers: DHP-2, L20462-B
  • Center white label just peels up and has NO glitter on it
  • Vinyl is jet black and is THICKER than the original
A Note about the Condition of this 45....
I am giving this album a "Near Mint" condition rating, however I am no professional.
Sleeve: There is one small opening on the bottom of the parchment sleeve (which I included in the pictures) where the 45 has pressed through. This is not uncommon.  Vinyl: Near Mint with only a few minor blemishes from taking in and out of the sleeve for review.
There may be a few other normal blemishes but nothing worth noting. I you have any more questions about the condition ask before buying.
Final Thoughts...
This is an awesome piece of Rock and Roll history and is perfect for an avid collector. It will only increase in value now that the band has played their final shows!  Not only is it rare in itself, but to have it autographed by Tommy Lee and Nikki Sixx makes it even more rare.
Please ask if you should have any questions at all. I have tried to cover everything that I can think of. I hate to let it go, but it is time for it to find a new home.
