Only 1,000 Singles of this brilliant Straight Edge/Hardcore 4-tracker from the States were made. Now 23 years and LONG OUT OF PRINT. The top produced BELIEFS EP was given 9 of 10 points by the FLEX book/website (US Hardcore/Punk Discography)....and below is as additional the comment of the wonderful FLEX. For some reason this record has gone unnoticed for the past 23 years...now is your chance to grab it before it gets comped on KILLED BY HARDCORE. You are bidding on the only 7” release by AWAKE from Florida. Original first US pressing in it’s original multi-folded picture sleeve which is crammed-full with photos and information. Pressed on private mini label ‘Skene’ records in 1989 (catalogue number 03).

- Great, professional sounding HC with straight edge elements. This is far away from the clichéd mess that many other bands delivered at that time; there are melodies and influences from other genres, musicianship is great, and the production is good and powerful. Excellent record. [9]
- Endlich mal wieder eine wirklich gute SE-HC-Platte. Cover, Aufmachung, Produktion und Musik sind hier durchaus professionell + nur vom Feinsten. Die Musik hat die typischen SE-Elemente und entsprechende Power, kann aber auch mit einigen Extras aufwarten, die den Erinnerungswert ungemein vergrößern und das Ganze sehr interessant und abwechslungsreich machen; dazu gehören u.a. nette Melodien, Ausflüge in andere Musikrichtungen und die wirklich sehr guten Musiker. Die Produktion ist einfach hervorragend, sehr klar und kraftvoll, auch der Drumsound kommt schön knallig. Super.

Versand / Mailing: alle Platten werden in einer neutralen weißen 7“ Hülle außerhalb des Plattencovers verschickt, um Beschädigungen am Originalcover zu vermeiden (all records will be sent in plain white 7“ sleeves outside of the picture sleeves to avoid any seam splits). Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen 7“ Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt (all records will be shipped in special 7“ record mailers, two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending).
