A BEATLES LOT EVENT: ALL 19 CAPITOL 45s + WINNER'S BONUS!

Between 1963 and 1968, Capitol Records released 19 Beatles singles. 15 reached #1 on Billboard charts. 

This auction is for THE ENTIRE SERIES of 45s, all 19. 

Plus, the winner automatically earns a Super Bonus (see below)! 

In alphabetical order, here's what you get: 

A HARD DAY’S NIGHT/I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER CAPITOL 5222 

This is an absolutely gorgeous East Coast second pressing. The only difference between this and the first pressing is the music publisher credit, which was revised. Not a mark on this disc. 

ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE/BABY YOU’RE A RICH MAN CAPITOL 5964  

This is an early East Coast pressing, Later pressings had a comma in the B-Side title. The sound is terrific! The label is, too, with just a hint of ringwear. 

AND I LOVE HER/IF I FELL CAPITOL 5235  

An excellent East Coast First Press, with the Unart publishing credit that was later removed. This could be a Near Mint except for initials on the A-Side. 

CAN’T BUY ME LOVE/ YOU CAN’T DO THAT CAPITOL 5150  

Another East Coast First Press in this package that looks and sounds like you just brought it back from the record store when it was released in March 1964. That is, except for one teeny number sticker. 

EIGHT DAYS A WEEK/ I DON’T WANT TO SPOIL THE PARTY CAPITOL 5371 

This is a West Coast First Press. The only way we know is the A-Side title is on two lines instead of one; the B-Side title on three lines instead of two. It's as clean as they come, visually as well as aurally. 

HELLO GOODBYE/I AM THE WALRUS CAPITOL 2056 

Other than my spot-test, this beauty looks like it's never been played! Truly amazing for its age. And a First Pressing, too. 

HELP!/I’M DOWN CAPITOL 5476  

This package offers some incredible 45s after so many years--and here's another one! You'd be hard-pressed to see or hear anything amiss with this disc. 

I FEEL FINE/SHE’S A WOMAN CAPITOL 5327 

No labels, no tears, no writing, no nothing but what "the boys" intended: two terrific songs that finished out 1964 as only The Beatles could. 

I WANT TO HOLD YOUR HAND/I SAW HER STANDING THERE CAPITOL 5112  

That was some Christmas present we American teenagers got when "I Want to Hold Your Hand" hit the record stores on December 26, 1963. And this disc still sounds awfully close to what we heard back then. A stunning label, too!  

I’LL CRY INSTEAD/I’M HAPPY JUST TO DANCE WITH YOU CAPITOL 5234  

An East Coast First Press from July, 1964 that rocks with John on the A-Side and features George--"the shy Beatle"--on the flip side. There's some age-appropriate ringwear but no owner marks or labels.  

LADY MADONNA/ THE INNER LIGHT CAPITOL 2138  

This is not only a close-to Near Mint disc, it offers some interesting history. The East Coast pressing plant (Scranton, PA) was in such a hurry to get the record out, it printed the earliest labels before they were told the running time of the songs! So you'll now have one of the first discs off the press!  

MATCHBOX/SLOW DOWN CAPITOL 5255  

Amazing sound on the only original swirl to feature unoriginal songs. In this case, covers of Carl Perkins and Larry Williams. The A-Side has small writing, and both sides have very minor ringwear. 

NOWHERE MAN/ WHAT GOES ON CAPITOL 5587  

An amazing copy for its age. I can't find or hear one thing that would rate this disc less than Near Mint! 

PAPERBACK WRITER/ RAIN CAPITOL 5651 

This wonderful pressing would be pretty perfect if a previous owner hadn’t written initials on the A-side. 

PENNY LANE/ STRAWBERRY FIELDS FOREVER CAPITOL 5810  

Another swirl with a bit of history. This is an early pressing with the running time shown for “Penny Lane” of 3:00. Subsequent (and slightly rarer) pressings had the corrected time of 2:57.  

TICKET TO RIDE/YES IT IS CAPITOL 5407 

A West Coast pressing that sounds and looks great, except for a previous owner who felt the urge to make sure everyone knew who it belonged to (just a minor name on the A-Side). 

WE CAN WORK IT OUT/ DAY TRIPPER CAPITOL 5555  

A few initials on "Day Tripper" won't take away from this great double-sided #1 hit.   

YELLOW SUBMARINE/ELEANOR RIGBY CAPITOL 5715  

Terrific sound all around. And just a wee bit of ringwear. Otherwise, no marks, no labels, no writing, just two timeless hits.    

YESTERDAY/ACT NATURALLY CAPITOL 5498  

Amazing sound after all these years, and a Near Mint label to go with it!
