Fact is, seven different mic patterns were tested, each recording monitored through a WAMM system until -- voila! -- one captured every nuance of the “live” experience. So, prepare yourself for twelve very fine examples of how to record a grand upright piano, this being the "Mighty Kroeger" built in 1918.

(BTW: This record is so finely mastered and cut, David Wilson uses the platter to fine-tune cartridge-arm setups.)
This classic audiophile Wilson comes to you in a jacket like new; record inside is all ashine, should play near mint, if not better.
