Description
Original vinyl 3 x LP set:
BACH "The Well-Tempered Clavier" (Brunswick ) original 1950s MONO UK pressing
SET OF THREE ALBUMS! ROSALYN TURECK on PIANO. I'm selling a full set of six volumes (see my other listings) - these three are slightly later editions, some might be in better condition - so you might want to pick up both sets to assemble the best listening experience!
Record 1: AXTL 1036 - Full gloss sleeve, "scallop" flip-backs (with MC 57.6 on bottom edge, indicating June 1957 pressing), purple/silver label (with deep groove near edge)
(Disc EX/ Sleeve EX) (disc has light surface scuffs, and slight haziness (possible slight off-gassing not affecting sound) - cover excellent, small crease on bottom flipback on reverse)
Record 2: AXTL 1037 - Full gloss sleeve, "scallop" flip-backs (with MC 58.1 on bottom edge, indicating January 1958 pressing), purple/silver deep groove label
(Disc EX / Sleeve VG+) (disc has light surface scuffs, generally excellent. Sleeve has light corner crease top right, some sellotape residue from old sticker and light discolouration on back)
Record 6: AXTL 1041 - Glossy RED sleeve, front laminated, matt back, purple/silver deep groove label (early 1960s ?) - (Disc EX / Sleeve EX) (Disc has a few light scuffs, sleeve excellent)
Parcel weighs just under 2kg, so will be sent International Royal Mail Tracked.
*** Check my other auctions - over the next few weeks I'm listing many rare classical titles, including Johanna Martzy, Ruggiero Ricci, Leonid Kogan, Nathan Milstein etc etc ***
