Here's an original New Zealand pressing of the Live At Sunbury 2LP by Billy Thorpe & The Aztecs, issued in 1972
With the scarce 3D pop-up "tent" sleeve
This 3 dimensional die-cut pop-up was only sold with a limited number of 1st edition copies,
it was wrapped around the actual Gatefold Sleeve
The tent sleeve is in wonderful shape, it has no missing pieces & has never been assembled
Thumping hard rock / prog from Thorpie and the Aztecs
Almost impossible to find now with a never assembled tent cover
A rare opportunity to find the tent sleeve, let alone in such truly wonderful shape
Original NZ pressing from 1972 on the Havoc label, catalogue no's. HST.4003 & HST.4004
CONDITION
2 VINYL LP's: G / G
Disc 1 is G, Disc 2 is G, numerous hairlines / scuffs that do not affect play greatly, both LP's play well
'TENT' SLEEVE: VG++ to Near EX / EX to EX+
The outer 'tent' sleeve is completely intact
The outside is VG++ to Near EX just some light mottling mainly to the edge areas,
the inside is a superb EX to EX+, in really fine condition
The Gate fold double LP is wrapped in a cardboard die-cut cover, printed with a half-tone light green photograph of the crowd and stage at the Sunbury Music Festival in January 1972
The inner part of this limited edition tent sleeve has a glossy full colour 3 dimensional die-cut pop up
The actual die-cut pop-up is pristine, all the die cut tabs are still in place with no damage
and the pop-up has never been used, it is crisp, bright and in magnificent condition
GATEFOLD SLEEVE: Near EX / EX
The outside of the Gatefold Sleeve is Near EX, the inside Gatefold is EX,
just very light handling only / small crease to bottom right rear corner,
the sleeve is quite susceptible to wear but this is the best sleeve for this release I've ever had, in really great condition
