Description

Abbey Road - The Beatles - 1st Pressing YEX 749-2 / 750-1 Original Vinyl LP 1969

"This version is the "first label, revised cover" version:
Dark green labels with a whole apple on the A-side label and a half, sliced-open apple on B-side.
The labels have the "(An E.M.I. Recording)" text on two lines and small "33 1/3" text moved to the left side.
Publishing year printed with a small ℗ symbol. The B-side label does not have "Her Majesty" credits.
Comes in a full laminated cover without flaps on the back side.
The front cover has the drain showing, the rear cover has the Apple logo aligned with the text, and 'Her Majesty' is not listed."

Description from Discogs.

  • Matrix / Runout (Runout Side A): YEX 749-2 3TH
  • Matrix / Runout (Runout Side B): YEX 750-1 1G

Vinyl has quite a few surface marks due to removal from inner sleeve. Otherwise quite clean. Plays very well, nice and bright. Very slight crackle at start of first track side 1 and, unfortunately, a small scratch causing a click at the start of track 2 side 1. Quite a few spindle marks as you would expect.
The cover has some laminate raising on the front spine (see photo) and some rim wear at the top. The rear has a dymo label on top left corner (see photo). Comes in original white paper inner sleeve.
All in all not a bad copy.
Thanks for looking.

Comes from a smoke free environment.
All vinyl cleaned and played before listing.
Posted in professional, fully stiffened recycled cardboard mailers.
