Rare UK first pressing to the best of my knowledge. These are generally the most sought out copies of this classic disk.
Firstly, the record:
Visually very nice. Light sleeve marks on either side but nothing deep or upsetting. The labels have a little spindle wear on them but are really pretty nice otherwise. It's been professionally cleaned so is nice & shiny. Please study the pictures for more detail.
I have play tested this record (no *visual testing only* nonsense) & it sounds great. It's upfront & bright just like the sixties stereo pressings should be. The run ins are pretty quiet & there's really not much deterioration in sound except a very vague crackle at the quiet intro to Oh! Darling.
Secondly, the sleeve:
Generally of a decent standard. Clean & unmarked with a good spine but showing a little age around the edges I suppose. The pictures tell a thousand words.
Further notes:
No Her Majesty on sleeve nor label;
Misaligned Apple on the sleeve.
In summary- a well looked after copy of a rare collectable at a good starting price. Not a museum piece but really pretty pleasing.
