Description
The vinyl of this record is glossy with plenty of light scuffs and light scratches. These are non-feelable marks that are difficult to see in normal light. The record plays through with no skips with only light background sound, including some light sizzle and an occasional few ticks. The labels show a couple of spindle trails. The cover has no seam splits. It shows corner wear, edge wear, ring wear, some notching at the opening, short creases of one inch or less on the perimeter, surface wear with scratches/impressions, and a name written in black marker on the front. The cover appears to be autographed. I can't determine if there is a single autograph, or if there are two autographs. The writing on the s of Nisa says, "To Alice, from Abdullah Ibrahim, Stay as sweet as you are." There is a symbol or scribble on the i of Nisa that seems to have been made by whoever autographed the cover. The writing on the a of Nisa is very smudged to the point of being illegible. The only thing I can make out from the writing on the a of Nisa is, "To Alice, All the" and then the writing seems to have stopped, with Zurich, 21 Nov 79 written in the bottom area of the a in Nisa.
The autograph(s) are much lighter than the owner's name that had been written in dark black marker. It was difficult to get the autograph(s) to show up well in the photos in the listing. They can be seen more clearly in person, though one of the autographs seems incomplete and all of the writing is smudged/faded. I have no means to authenticate nor any knowledge concerning the circumstances of the autographs.
