Description

Here’s a rare original pressing of “The Above Ground Sound of Jake Holmes”. It’s on the Tower label, number ST 5079, original orange label press from 1967. This folk psych album is known for Holmes’ composition “Dazed and Confused” which was “borrowed” by Led Zeppelin on their first album. Years later, Holmes sued and a settlement was reached out of court. The vinyl grades VG++ on this copy, full gloss, a few light paper lines on side one. The cover has some seam wear, but no seam splits. Small bit of residue from an old price tag in the top right corner. Very nice copy of a rare album!! Drop me a message if ebay doesn’t calculate shipping for you. California residents add 8.225% tax. Happy bidding!!
