For a band that started off as a joke and has songs titles such as "Animum, Mentem Alcis Iuventutem Largitionibus, Hostes Ad Dimicandum, Commotis Exita Sacris Thyias", one must wonder how the audacity of the band exists (or existed)? Don't get me wrong: Abruptum is the perfect creation of unorganized, ridiculous, and clever arrangements which appeals to those who realize talent is not necessarily needed in order to be successful. I like Abruptum because it is nowhere to be found in a trendy world. Your girlfriend named Muffy won't be listening to this and definitely don't expect Abruptum to be played at Starbucks. Rather, take advantage of owning a piece of the most evil project ever to exist. A nice review of this release can be read here.
